It has been a long, long time since our last post. I had thought of suspending the blog but due to popular demand we are back.

Executive Meeting

The next Executive Meeting will take place on January 19th. If you have any items you would like brought to forward, please contact Erica Smith or Patricia Madden.

NSALT Survey

Thank you to all who completed the NSALT survey. The survey draw for free memberships will take place at the next executive meeting. Watch for winners to be announced by mid-January.

The survey results are currently under review. They will be posted by the end of January 2008.

NSALT Survey

The Executive of NSALT has created a survey which we hope will help provide some direction for the coming year. Please take a few moments to complete the survey.

The document is available online on the NSALT website. The survey is open to all library technicians/library assistants in Nova Scotia. You do not have to be an NSALT member to complete the survey.

All surveys can be sent to NSALT President, Erica Smith, at elmsmith@eastlink.ca. Completed surveys should be returned by December 31, 2007.

Pub Night Details...

As mentioned yesterday, the NSALT Pub Night is set for November 22. We will be meeting at 7:00pm at Freemans Resturant on Quinpool Road.

I hope everyone can make it. It will be a great opportunity to meet and greet with the NSALT Executive in an informal setting.
