NSALT Survey

The Executive of NSALT has created a survey which we hope will help provide some direction for the coming year. Please take a few moments to complete the survey.

The document is available online on the NSALT website. The survey is open to all library technicians/library assistants in Nova Scotia. You do not have to be an NSALT member to complete the survey.

All surveys can be sent to NSALT President, Erica Smith, at elmsmith@eastlink.ca. Completed surveys should be returned by December 31, 2007.

A day in the life of a Library Technician

The Executive is still looking for more stories!!!

NSALT wants to hear about your typical work day.

The executive is currently collecting submissions detailing a day in the work life of an LT. The information collected will be used on posters and other PR materials that are issued by the Association.

Over the summer, NSALT will begin sending out posters, brochures, etc. to libraries and newspapers. These items will be aimed at the general public - public service announcements about the who and what of an LT.

Feel free to send suggestions to your president at

Social Night
